About Rebecca:

I am a, relatively, new resident of the crazy concrete jungle that is Hong Kong, having previously lived in Singapore, London, Calgary and Malta.  I have a full time corporate job and through my nomad life and my journey at work I have learnt two important things:

1. Work is, don't let it take over &

2. Find balance in everything

As happens to all of us, I have faced my fair share of challenges and the thing that I always come back to when I need to find balance and peace in my life is my yoga practice.  My yoga practice ranges from a full on sweaty 90 minute Ashtanga flow to 10 minutes on my mat before bed. It allows me to really focus on me, and step away from whatever is unsettling me.  More often than not, my time on the mat just gives me that distance I need to come up with a solution to whatever is unbalancing me at the time!

My restorative yoga classes:

As a result of my experience juggling a busy job in a busy city I have developed a real love and appreciation for the self healing practice of a gentle, restorative yoga class.  Restorative yoga is all about slowing down, focusing inwards and really allowing the body to open up.

Creating a serene and calm environment with dim lights, soft music and essential oils, where each pose is held for a few minutes; I help my students work towards quietening the mind and entering a state of deep relaxation.
